The Košar agritourism

At the Košar family farm high-quality pumpkin seeds for processing and selling oil have been produced since 2015. The yield goes up to a thousand liters of highest-quality and 100% pure pumpkin seed oil annually since the undeniable quality of their products is primarily customer-driven.

They have also launched the production of grape seed oil that presents a novelty on the Slovenian market. The use of its compounds has been suggested to delay many health issues and to offer some beauty benefits. It is a natural antioxidant, important to pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industry. Rich in vitamins E and C, in omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, it boosts immune system, slows down the effects of aging, prevents heart failure and is metabolism and brain booster, and presumed to help fight cancer and diabetes to boot.

The Košar family farm enterprise is a recipient of numerous awards for their oil production both at home and abroad. They regularly present their produce at the national »Dobrota slovenskih kmetij« culinary event, where in 2017, 2018, and 2019 consecutively their pumpkin seed oil won gold taste awards in this category, and was awarded the quality seal in 2019 in the same category. Their oil received a silver medal taste award at the Alpe-Adria international products evaluation contest in Varaždin in 2018 and in 2019, a silver medal at the Öl-Kaiser evaluation in Wieselburg in 2016 and 2017, and a gold medal in 2018 and 2019.

In 2016, their grapeseed oil won a silver medal taste award at the »Dobrota slovenskih kmetij« culinary event, a gold medal taste award in 2017 and in 2018, and a silver medal taste award in 2019. At the Öl-Kaiser evaluation in Wieselburg, they were awarded a gold medal in 2018 and 2019. All these prestigious awards speak for themselves without a doubt.
