Route description
In Veržej, there is a Centre of Domestic and Artistic Crafts with a rich exhibition space and a well-equipped pottery workshop. Right next to it, there are straw-covered houses, earthen houses with an Old Slavic touch. They are located in a well-kept camp on the edge of the village. From Veržej, the route leads to the Banovci Spa and past the Beekeeping Museum through clustered villages and past gravel pits to Križevci, and from there to Bunčani, which boasts perfectly preserved farmhouse facades. Before returning to the starting point, you can visit the last functioning mill on the Mura. This flatland circular cycling route is suitable for family cycling, as a nice addition to your vacation in the Banovci Spa.
