Route description

From the calm town centre with three beautiful squares, you can walk through the town park, the location of the first Slovenian »tabor« meeting, to the hippodrome with brisky trotting horses and a museum. The circular cycling route first takes you to the popular spa Bioterme Mala Nedelja in Slovenske gorice and over the rounded hills past ponds to the mystical village of Jeruzalem. Visitors are offered wonderful vistas along the dynamic route with many climbs and descents. Your effort is quickly rewarded with a selection of exquisite white wines of the highest quality. The route becomes less demanding and flat before you reach the traditional cable ferry across the Mura, and circles past the Beekeeping Museum on the flat part of Prlekija back to Ljutomer. A route full of challenges for demanding cyclists.
