Route description

The Mura River separates the trade fair town Gornja Radgona and the picturesque Austrian town of Bad Radkersburg with its popular spa. Gornja Radgona is a place of sparkling wines, which is also the reason why the circular cycling route starts and ends at the house of sparkling wine Dom penine in Radgonske gorice. A tour of the Špital Museum and a visit to the Alley of Giants at the foot of the town castle hill is the starting point for the ascent to the exemplarily preserved renaissance castle Negova. Along the way, you can refresh yourself at the Ivanjševska slatina natural mineral water spring and continue the exciting ride with charming views over the Radgonsko-Kapelske gorice vineyards. Numerous climbs to the rounded vineyard peaks richly repay the effort put in on the »Path of the Most Beautiful Moments«.
